Breeders' Cup Update:


Rosinka (IRE)

Fair Hill Training Center was represented in the
25th annual
Breeders' Cup by trainers Graham Motion and Steve Klesaris.

On Ladies Day, long-time Graham Motion trainee Rosinka (IRE)
placed a solid second in the Las Palmas Handicap (GII).

Sky Diva
, a rising star trained by Steve Klesaris finished
third in the Bessemer Trust Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (GI).

On Saturday, Rebellion (GB) closed sharply to finish second
in the TVG Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile. For trainer Graham Motion

Also on Saturday:
Kodiak Kowboy was victorious in winning the Sport Page Handicap (GIII) at Belmont Park for trainer Larry Jones.

On Sunday:
Tim Woolley trainee Saar Treaty finished a game second in the Missy Moo I Love You Stakes at Belmont Park.

There were additional wins this week by:
Wednesday: Ballast and Jazz Jam trained by Graham Motion, White Pearl trained by Leigh and Arnauld Delacour.

Friday: Cherokee Artist trained by Graham Motion, Celine trained by Leigh and Arnauld Delacour, Marquis Jet trained by Mike Trombetta and local assistant Melissa Begley, Timely Tradition trained by Tim Woolley, Cove Bay trained by Layne Giliforte.

Saturday: Home of the Gold trained by Mark Shuman.
Sunday: Powder House Road trained by Larry Jones.

Fair Hill had 80 starters, 14 of which were stakes, this week.
There were 11 wins, 17 places and 8 shows totaling $894,250.

Better Talk Now

All three wins for Fair Hill horses during the week(Monday - Thursday) came on Monday:
Princess Haya trained by Michael Matz. Control System trained by Mike Trombetta
and local Assistant Melissa Begley and Jungle Cat trained by Billy Entenmann.

Fair Hill Training Center will be represented in the 25th annual Breeders Cup by trainers Graham Motion and Steve Klesaris.

Graham Motion has pre-entered Better Talk Now, Rebellion and Saucey Evening.

Steve Klesaris has pre-entered Miraculous Miss, Sky Diva and Forty Thieves.

Weekend Update:


Opera Heroine

On Saturday, trainer Kathy McKenna saddled Western Fling to win the
Genesse Valley Hunt Cup Timber Stakes at Genesse Valley. She also trained Toughkenamon to finish third.

On Sunday, trainer Graham Motion raced Deal Making to a third place
finish in the Bryan Station Stakes at Keeneland.

Maryland Million Weekend:


Smart Enough

On Saturday, trainer Steve Klesaris saddled Sky Diva to an impressive win in the
Frizette Stakes (GI) at Belmont Park.

Trainer Michael Trombetta and local assistant Melissa Begley raced Spectacular Malibu to a first place
finish in the Maryland Million Distaff Handicap at Laurel Park.

Trainer Graham Motion had a successful weekend with trainee Miss Lombardi winning the Maryland Million Ladies Stakes at Laurel Park on Saturday. Followed by Saucey Evening in the California Cup Juvenile Fillies Stakes at Santa Anita and Rosinka (IRE) finishing an impressive third in the Juddemonte Spinster Stakes (GI) at Keeneland on Sunday.
