Fareena is Happiness

Only a few days into the Saratoga meet, many Fair Hill trainers have seen success in Allowance and Maiden races. At Delaware Park on Saturday, Fareena, trained by Leigh Delacour improved her impressive record by adding another win in the Denise Rhudy Memorial Stakes.

In the Money:
Fair Hill trainers enjoyed a very successful weekend.

Saturday:

Trainers Michael Matz and Graham Motion finished second(Herboriste) and third(Rosinka) in the Robert G. Dick Memorial Handicap (GIII) at Delaware Park. More on the Robert G. Dick Memorial

In the Delaware Oaks (GII), trainer Larry Jones proved that Proud Spell is the real deal with her impressive win. Finishing second in the race was Graham Motion trainee African Violet. Proud Spell Rebounds

Steve Klesaris has success with veteran trainee Miraculous Miss when she placed in the Princess Rooney Handicap (GI) at Calder Race Course. More on "the Miss"

Graham Motion was once again in the money when Better Talk Now finished third just behind Curlin in the Man O' War Stakes (GI)

Sunday:

Trainer Douglas Fout was successful at Delaware Park when Wheels Up at Noon won the Caesar Rodney Stakes in commanding fashion.

The Barbaro Stakes (GIII) was one of the main attractions at Delaware Park over the weekend. Graham Motion bested the Fair Hill horses with a second place finish (Cherokee Artist). Finishing third was the same magical combination as the 2006 Kentucky Derby. Michael Matz sent out Lael Stables owned, Ready Set, with Edgar Prado aboard. More on the Barbaro

Sunday Silence:

Fair Hill trainers had a dominating weekend.

Friday July 4th, Indy Joe hit the board yet again for trainer Mark Shuman when he finished third in the Jersey Shore Stakes (G3) at Monmouth. More on the Jersey Shore Stakes

Steve Klesaris trainee Salty Response placed in the My Fair Lady Stakes at Suffolk Downs.

Trainer Larry Jones raced Fox Hill Farm owned, Honest Man, to a tough third in Monmouth's Salvator Mile Handicap (G3)

The race of the weekend took place at Monmouth on Sunday. The Miss Liberty Stakes was swept by Fair Hill horses when Douglas Fout's trainee Dyna's Lassie pulled off an impressive win over Michael Matz trained Rasta Farian and Graham Motion trained Bachata.

Weekend Update:

There were several Fair Hill horses in the money this weekend.

Larry Jones had a big day on Saturday at Belmont Park. Kentucky Oaks winner "Proud Spell" returned to action to finish second (but DQ'd to third) in the Mother Goose Stakes (GI). Argentina bred "Solar Flare" finished second in the Suburban Handicap (GI).

Mark Shuman trainee "Xchanger" helped pull off a track record when he finished second at Philadelphia Park's Donald LeVine Memorial Handicap. More from ESPN
